YOUTH SERMONETTE DAY
This Sunday (8/6) is Youth Sermonette Day. Brother Z, Sister Jai and Lil’ Sis’ Heaven will be going forth in the Word. Praising God for giving our youth the passion, enthusiasm, and commitment to our Lord. We pray they keep shining their lights and inspiring us to draw closer to Him.
May God lead them and send them a complete refilling+ after sharing with us today.
BACK TO SCHOOL
As we approach the end of summer and children prepare to head back to school, let us come together to pray for them and, also, with them. May we lift up our students from toddlers to college students to adult learners. Pray for God’s powerful guidance, strength, and wisdom as they embrace new challenges and opportunities. Let our collective prayers create a shield of support and blessings, guiding them (and their families) as they transition back to school.
REMINDERS
Baptism: If you feel called to take this transformative step, we encourage you to reach out to Bishop and he will get a date set up for you.
Tuesday Night Bible Study: On the Line: Call into the HLDT Conference Line on 6:30pm for Corporate Prayer followed by Bible Study. If you have any questions, please reach out to Bishop.
Check in with Neighbors: In the spirit of God's unyielding love and compassion, let us remember to reach out to friends and neighbors, near and far, and check in on their well-being. A simple phone call, a kind message, or a thoughtful visit can make a world of difference in someone's life.
Support Needed: It's better when we work together ♥️Share your God-given talents and gifts, fellowship with your church family, and support our many ministries. Currently, we need help with: maintaining the kitchen/fridge, cleaning the sanctuary and fellowship hall after services, and support with the children’s ministries.
Mother Shirley’s Gallery Event: God has blessed Mother Shirley with an upcoming gallery event to share her artistic gifts. Throughout August, her show will be on display and available for purchase at Ruth Holly Library Colorado Springs.
Summer Family and Friends Sundays: Oh hold.
Housekeeping: Please pick up “your space” before leaving the fellowship hall, kitchen, or sanctuary. This reduces the need for extra cleaning & keeps the bugs out. No children in the kitchen without adult supervision and permission to make food or drink items.
